There's something about capturing the perfect moment with my camera that makes me feel like I've just won the lottery. A quiet moment of shared intimacy, a candid exclamation of joy, the intense look of love in a person's gaze, an exuberant dance--these are the emotions that make up our lives, and what I seek to record on your wedding day.
I'm a wedding photojournalist, capturing your wedding in a documentary style, working with real moments, in real time. My goal is to tell the complete story of your wedding day--from the smallest details to the overall big picture, and all the smiles and tears in between. And I do it in an unobtrusive way, so the events of the day can unfold naturally.

Kerry Sherck is a destination wedding photographer covering Santa Fe, New Mexico, Connecticut, New York City, Califonia and locations worldwide. She is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Kerry worked as a photojournalist in southern Connecticut for more than 10 years. During that time she's had the opportunity to photograph a wide variety of assignments and people, from presidential visits to the everyday lives of immigrant laborers.
She has received awards and recognition from the New England Press Association, the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists, the New England Associated Press News Executives Association and the Deadline Club of New York. She was the winner of the Vox Populi Independent Music Awards in the category of Album Art Photography in 2008 for her cover image of musician Jennifer Hruska.
Kerry studied photography at the Crealde School of Art in Winter Park, Florida, and at L'Ecole de Photographie de Toulouse, in Toulouse, France. She has lived in France and Mexico and is fluent in French and Spanish.
